After having shown off a coat which turns anybody who wears it virtually invisible, scientists at Keiko Universtity in Japan have refined the technology, for use in cars.
Cameras mounted on the outside of the car could then have the image projected inside the car, onto the interior panels, thus giving the impression of an invisible car aiding everything from general visibility to tricky parking.

We don’t really know how it works, exactly, but the system has reportedly been fitted to a modified Toyota Prius which will be shown at the upcoming 2012 Digital Content Expo, in Tokyo. It will definitely use cameras and projectors, as well as the special material, similar to that used in the invisibility cloak.

This is a very interesting subject, and we will bring you more information once the car is officially revealed, some time between October 25 and 27.
