As fun as motocross and dirt riding are, they come with a handful of things which can go wrong, but jumping is not one of them. It's landing which causes troubles very often.
While getting airborne is extremely easy with all the ramps on a dirt track, landing safely is one technique which must be mastered if broken limbs are not what a rider is after.
Now, flying is definitely cool, but landing in a ditch by the ramp is definitely not. Hopefully the kid was alright, as fixing the Suzuki RM85 is surely not a big deal. It's a tough sport, and these kids are just as tough themselves.
