Watch the Epic Hot Wheels Double Loop

The biggest thriller in America this weekend was the Los Angeles X Games, filled with bike stunts, a bit of rallycross and some really cool stunts. Team Hot Wheels managed to do the improbably and, as Tanner Foust and Greg Tracy conquer the Double Dare Loop, finishing their runs with a couple of ramp jumps.
There are two ramps at the start of the loop, but only one at the end, so Foust and Tracy had to start their runs at slightly different times. The cars were especially designed for the stunt, with overhangs that can clear the angles of the loop and stiff suspension.

It might seem like too much work for a stunt that lasted a few seconds, but judging by the fact that the stunt got 400,000 views in a couple of days, we’d say it was worth it.

Editor’s note: Man oh man, we’re getting really close to seeing those toy car stunts becoming reality. We need dragons, forcefields and water elements soon!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
