One of the many new features you can find on the 2014 Toyota Corolla is the way you can use the vehicle’s gearbox.
Both the Corolla LE and LE Eco feature two more positions for the gear shifter - S and B - designed to offer you more road adaptability, depending on how you want to drive.
The S mode comes from Sport, obviously, and it lets you explore the engine’s higher revs zone for driving on twisty country roads.
Pulling the shifter down, you engage the B mode, which is the equivalent of shifting a manual car in low - it increases engine drag and helps slow the vehicle while coasting.
