If it’s not already too late, we recommend that you turn your volume way down before watching the video, because the new V12 Vantage-based GT3 racecar is a savage brute that will ruin your eardrums.
Aston Martin Racing began testing its new V12 Vantage GT3 at Brands Hatch in Kent this week, covering almost 1000 kilometers in just two days, which considering how grueling race conditions are is the proof of the pudding when it comes to resilience.
Most of the miles covered were done by factory driver Darren Turner, who said the car ran perfectly, and that it was a worthy successor for the DBRS9. “Being based on the smaller Vantage it is more responsive and feels more nimble, giving the driver plenty of confidence to extract all the performance from the V12 engine while also being light on its tyres. It isn’t too physical to drive and I didn’t even break into a sweat during the test!” Darren added.
