Rat rods are a counter-reaction to the high-priced, custom and shiny hot rods and many of them are heavily chopped, rusty and unpractical, being built only to thrill and for show.
This time we present you one rat rod that, apart from its strange look, is a bit more practical. The front fascia looks scary due to its reptile-like headlights, rusty grille and two tiny skeleton hands that are holding a pipe wanting to be some sort of bumper.
The practicality comes from new modern tires, a boot, place for a spare wheel and even a reserve of gasoline. At the interior it features an LCD display for the navigation, a ceiling lamp, a clock, full instrumentation and even storage space under the seats.
The oddity was built in three months and it is powered by a 400 hp V8 engine, weighting around 1,360 hg (3000 lb). The owner claims that it “rides like a Crown Vic”.
