One of the most important sportscars of the year is the ZL1, the fastest Camaro ever made. This machine was engineered to be a true track car, with upgraded brakes, suspension and a mighty engine. However, the temptation to turn it unto a quarter mile dragster was too big for some people.
This one was specially tuned by 510 Race Engineering in Houston. While it was undergoing dyno testing, the new engine management found it fit to send some massive flames out the back. So now, it’s a quarter mile racing flamethrower?

In case you didn’t know, we’ll tell you the stock ZL1 comes with a 6.2-liter LSA engine rated at 580 horsepower (432 kW) and 556 lb-ft of torque (754 Nm). This can be mated to a six-speed manual or, in this case, a 6L90 automatic.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
