The Nurburgring is the mecca of speed, the place where the gods of speed still dominate over those of petty environmental worries. Those who warship these gods come every weekend for the tourist track days and are rewarded for their bravery with sheer joy.
However, there are disadvantages to these events. Take this owner of a lovely white VW Scirocco, probably an R model judging from the front bumper. He was hoping the gods would bless him and his car, but instead it was a cursed day for him.

Jokes aside, this accident caused some serious damage to the front wheel-drive car as it slammed into the wall due to understeer. Excessive speed into the corner is clearly to blame here, and this 'Rocco owner has a hefty repair bill to remind him of his mistake.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
