Volkswagen has decided to introduce a new version of their Amarok, the SingleCab version for smaller crews that need a bigger bed. The pickup now offers a massive 65 centimeters (25 inches) of extra load space and is already available for order.
The load bed is 2,205 millimeters with the same vehicle length and wheelbase as compared with the four-door double cab Amarok, which makes for a loading area of 3,57 square meters.

The Amarok SingleCab is offered with the same 2.0-liter TDI developing 122 hp or 163 hp. The power can be sent either to the back or to all four wheels via the optional selectable four-wheel drive 4MOTION with reduction gearing. The lower output version offers a fuel consumption of 7.2 litres per 100 kilometres, which is equal to a CO2 output of 189 g/km. Prices start at €19,500 for the RWD with 122 hp.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
