The first things you'll need to know about Volvo as a car company is that they're from Scandinavia. If you like Ikea's simple design and natural wood fibers, there's something of a Swede in you too.
In the past few years, Volvo has engineered cars that are not a burden on the environment and we love them for it. But 2014 seems to be the beginning of a design revolution in Sweden, and now their cars are not a burden on the eye either!

Right at the beginning of the year, Volvo is leaving its mark with the XC Coupe, a small SUV concept coming to the Detroit Auto Show. Hoping it will go into production, we're showing our admiration for the new design language.

The XC Coupe is the second second out of three concept cars, all in their own individual way leading up to the forthcoming XC90 later in 2014, Volvo sats. Here's hoping there will be a three-door XC30 in the near future!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
