If we check with Volvo, they will say that the brand new V40 five-door hatchback is still a good 12 days away from being revealed in Geneva. But you can’t keep a good thing hidden for long, and this is also true for the upcoming C-segment car from Sweden.
Via the Polish car magazine Motodziennik, we can show you a couple of actual press photos that were leaked of the V40. The styling is very much the usual Volvo deal, with a front that combines elements from the C0 and the newer S60 sedan.
The long character hump, that gives all Volvos the impression of having strong shoulders to protect its occupants, is now stepped right above the rear door handles. Interestingly the two photos show slightly different car, one of them having a set of aero wheels and a strange spoiler construction.
