Volkswagen Touran Pricing Released

Volkswagen has released the German market pricing for the recently-introduced Touran MPV.

The less fuel-thirsty version of the Touran is also the less expensive one: the Trendline model equipped with the 1.2 liter TSI Bluemotion gasoline engine that develops 105 hp has a starting price of 22,400 euro. The gasoline Touran range tops at 30,425 euro, the price for the version equipped with the 140 hp 1.4 TSI powerplant that comes with the Highline equipment level.

Diesel lovers can buy a Touran starting from 24,950 euro, if they choose the Trendline model using the 1.6 TDI engine that offers 105 hp. At the top of the oil burning range, we find the 170 hp 2.0 TDI model with the Highline trim level, which retails for 33,400 euro.

The Volkswagen Touran is an eco-friendly vehicle, as all its engines use turbocharging and direct fuel injection to reduce emissions. The entire engine line-up meets the Euro 5 emissions standard.

Volkswagen has completely redesigned the vehicle’s exterior, with the doors being the only element shared with the pre-facelift model. The interior of the vehicle features “Golf & Co” styling, with white backlit instruments and fresh three-spoke steering wheels. Customers can choose between a five and a seven seat configuration. Each seat of the optional third row can be folded out, increasing the luggage storage space’s capacity.

The Touran offers a luggage space of up to 695 liters (for the five seat configuration) and offers a maximum payload of up to 660 kg, depending on the version. The MPV is packed with new technology, offering features like Dynamic Light Assist (a premiere for its class), and Park Assist 2.0.
