Volkswagen Fox Style Now Available

German carmaker Volkswagen announced that it has extended the Fox model range by adding a new special edition dubbed Style. The Volkswagen Fox Style will be available for prices starting from 10,975 euros.

The model comes equipped with 'Salvador' alloy wheels plus a new front and rear spoiler, exterior mirror casings and body colored protective trim strips. Inside the Volkswagen Fox Style customers will find aluminum-look pedals, newly designed seat covers and the RCD 200 MP3 radio system.

Other standard features offered on the Volkswagen Fox Style are the easy entry, fog lights and power steering while motorization options include two petrol engines that deliver 55 horsepower (40 kW) or 75 horsepower (55 kW) and a diesel unit outputting 70 horsepower (51 kW). All engines meet the Euro-4-Norm and are mounted transversely in the front.

The Volkswagen Fox was first introduced back in 2005, being available in two body styles, 3 and 5 door hatchback. The model is the successor of Lupo on the European market, a Volkswagen city car which recorded an impressive success. Like the contemporary Polo, the Fox is based on Volkswagen's PQ24 platform.

In detail the Fox is 3.82 meters long, 1.66 meters wide (without rearview mirrors) and 1.54 meters high. The wheelbase measures 2.47 meters. The optional rear bench can be adjusted up to 15 centimeters in length and the seatback can be divided in the middle. The cargo capacity ranges from 260 to 353 liters with 4 people in the car. The length of the cargo space varies between 676 and 1,351 millimeters.
