Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is introducing the Caravelle Edition 25, with the development giving us a limited edition, equipment-packed, individualized version of the German passenger van.
The vehicle is dressed in Candy White, a color that is exclusively offered on this model - customers can also opt for Reflex Silver- and comes revised front and rear bumpers, riding on 18-inch Edition 25 alloy rims.
The van is powered by a 2.0-liter Bi-Turbo diesel unit that delivers 180 hp and is mated to a seven-speed double clutch DSG gearbox. The standard vehicle comes with front-wheel-drive, but a 4MOTION four-wheel-drive system is also available. The 0 to 62 mph sprint is covered in 11.3 seconds (12.1 seconds for the 4MOTION version), while the top speed sits at 119 mph/ 192 km/h (117 mph/ 188 km/h).
The Volkswagen Caravelle Edition 25 uses the SE trim level as a starting point, adding a two-tone leather finish, a three-zone air conditioning system, satnav with voice activation, parking sensors and a rear view camera, Lance Change Assist and others.
For now, the vehicle has been announced in the UK, where 225 units will be available for a price of GBP44,995 (EUR53,500) each.
