If you go on Versus Performance’s website right now, you’ll notice that there’s a huge banner on it, talking about one of their craziest projects, the Versus M235i Clubsport that we had on our website a while back. Towards the end of their ‘bragging’ their upcoming M4 is mentioned...
However, up until now they didn’t release any official specs of the car or even a couple of photos. Luckily for us, the guys from Autogespot are always on the look-out, searching for the latest and most impressive rides out there. It’s no surprise then that they spotted the Versus M4 this week.
The car was wearing the by now traditional Austin Yellow paint and various stickers from Versus Performance as well as other vendors like Akrapovic, BBS and KW. It’s extremely likely that they all had something to do with the end product.
By the looks of things, we’re almost certain that their M4 got some KW love (it has a seriously lowered stance) and BBS as well as Akrapovic, by the carbon fibre tailpipes at the back.
Now, spec-wise we can only speculate but looking at what they achieved on the M235i, it’s clear to see that this thing will be brutal. They got over 400 HP on that car and it’s a single-turbo. With the twin-turbo design of the S55 engine, we’re expecting close to 600 HP on the M4 which would make it a sub 4-second car. Until any official word reaches us, we’ll just have to be patient.
Oh, and that IS a rollcage inside the car, in case you were wondering...
