Vauxhall Brings British Designers Under the Spotlight

Vauxhall is willing to bring British designers under the spotlight and has issued a press release, emphasizing their influence on the industry. The carmaker brags that British designers are bringing a major contribution to the new age look of Vauxhall vehicles and, through the company’s developments, they are expanding their influence on pan-European and global design.

As Vice President for Vauxhall and Opel, Mark Adams is supervising the exterior and interior design development for both the Vauxhall and Opel brands. He is supported by Malcom Ward, who holds the Director of Exterior Design position. Adams’ responsibilities also cover some important global products, such as the Buick Regal, a vehicle that is based on the Vauxhall Insignia and is being marketed in North America and China. This is just one example of how the British designers are influencing global vehicles.

There is no doubt of the impact our British designers have on our cars’ final look and feel,” said Adams. “Elegant design details are encapsulated in all areas of our new generation products giving Vauxhall cars a much coveted, premium feel."

Vauxhall leads the UK in style and design - the great response our cars receive speaks for itself,” added Vauxhall Motors’ Managing Director Duncan Aldred. “Our British-centric design team ensures an appeal to British buyers that only Vauxhall can offer. Subtle details like chrome-framed windows and ambient red interior lighting lead to a sales success for Vauxhall that makes the UK GM’s biggest European market and the fourth largest in the world.
