vAuto AutoWriter Online Vehicle Descriptor Launched

Now this is something that may come in handy these troubled days. Oak Brook-based vAuto has released today its AutoWriter technology, aimed at allowing car dealers to generate and publish, automatically, descriptions of the cars they advertise online. But what's so special about it?

Unlike any other product available today, vAuto’s AutoWriter is the only technology that doesn’t use repetitive templates but, rather, generates a unique and compelling description for each vehicle,” Keith Jezek, vAuto president said.

The AutoWriter technology works by generating rich descriptions for the car by using sentences. It helps dealers emphasize attributes of the cars (and hide the down sides) like low mileage, high performance and fuel efficiency.

We are bringing to the industry the first logic engine with the ability to dynamically generate descriptions that capture the attention and imagination of online shoppers,” the company's president added.

vAuto is largely known thanks to its "Live Market View", a technology which allows some 2,000 dealers manage their car inventory by using comprehensive supply-and-demand information. Through this program, "millions of pre-owned vehicles are maintained and updated on a daily basis within vAuto’s database."

The solutions offered by vAuto try to lend a hand to dealers more than it does so for the customers. Being destined for retailers of pre-owned vehicle, the vAuto database helps them be aware of the competitions' moves (you can choose up to three competitors and see what they have to offer and for how much), the prices of pre-owned vehicles as well as providing tools to correctly price a car.
