We had not seen that many Russian accident videos which involved the presence of a Lada Niva, but this rather amusing incident came to fill the gap. The video shows the driver of a Lada Niva who, in a fashion not too dissimilar to this driver, does not give way and ends up hitting both a Hyundai Tucson and a Subaru Tribeca.
It just goes to show how important indicating and thoroughly looking are, when driving in built-up areas. Cars could pop out of invisible side streets, or come out of parking spots you never knew existed - the accident possibilities are truly endless in a city.
The Lada Niva driver could have waited an additional 3 seconds before attempting to make the left turn - everything would have been OK and we would not have had a Russian crash video to post.
