It's a known fact that BMW E30 M3 prices have been going off the charts lately, especially for very well maintained models but this one might be just a little too much.
We're talking about a EUR250,000, one-off BMW M3 Sport Evolution Convertible. According to germancarscene.com the seller claims that the car was custom made for a special customer by BMW's M Division, by hand, as they used to back in 1993.
The car comes with full leather and has only 52,000 miles on the odometer. Furthermore, the engine seems to be in perfect shape. The 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder unit develops 235 HP and takes the car up to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.1 seconds.
We know it seems like bragging and a lot of BS but a simple check of Wikipedia will seemingly confirm the stats. On the BMW E30 M3 page, at the production figures, there is only 1 Sport Evolution Convertible listed. If you don't trust Wikipedia, who do you trust?
The asking price might be a little too much though. Even if this is the only such model ever made, €250,000 ($340,000) is still a lot of money. We can only hope that if the seller finally manages to find a buyer, he'll turn out to be a true BMW fanatic.
