Fast and Furious actor and singer Tyrese Gibson is so proud of his Mercedes Sprinter he turned into an Rolls-Royce look alike that he even managed to convince people on Travel TV to feature it on one of their shows. Not that we haven’t met the ride before, but it’s the first time the rapper throws some figures in, which, by the way, are pretty amazing...
Whether it’s television or internet we’re pretty sure you’ve watched Travel Channel at least once or twice. We don’t really watch TV, but we enjoy checking out their Extreme RVs episodes every once in a while. The series features rolling mansions with incredible amenities and designs that put most homes to shame.
And Tyrese’s Mercedes-Benz Sprinter is definitely a vehicle you want to have on this type of show. The video below shows Gibson talking about his experience in designing cars: “I have designed my share of cars, but I’ve never done anything this creative. What makes this an extreme RV is literally the first and only in the world.” Is that a bit cocky or is it just us? Wait, there is more.
Shortly after, cameras move to Jack Chalmers from Chalmers Automotive shop who also talks about the van. This makes more sense considering his team is actually the one that designed the car. According to him, the Rolls-Royce Ghost van wears a $5,500 custom-built grill, triple tinted windows and extreme suspension system.
A Sprinter worth $250,000
Security cameras are installed on all the sides of the vehicle, making the passenger able to literally see everything that is going on outside. As to the star ceiling, we already wrote a couple of times about, well it costed $10,000. That’s just pocket money for any celebrity.
But what might really impress anybody is the 2,000 watts sound system, built on six speakers and two subwoofers. Add a couple of 21-inch flat screens and you get yourself quite the RV.
