While you were busy thinking that football stars and IT magnates spend millions on the most eccentric lifestyle features, renown Italian shipyard based in Naples, Fiart Mare, has been developing something even smoother. It does what a regular speed watercraft but looks like the cabin of a spacecraft.
Meet the latest Jet Capsule model. It’s been an ongoing project that took several shapes throughout the last three years, but as you can see all the hard work was not in vain. It comes with great features such as rear doors, photochromic windows, a rooftop that transforms into a sundeck and toilette room. Add the rear/sub-cameras and the air conditioning and heater, and you’re getting closer to what a luxurious yacht would have.

Clearly, what stands out is the private jet layout, both outside and inside. Say you are one of the loaded people who can actually afford one, there’s another great thing about this bad boy. The company making them offers numerous customizable possibilities, as you can turn it into a pleasure craft or keep it as your particular office where you do business.

In terms of power, these bad boys are available with single or dual engine configuration, as well as an auxiliary electric motor that you use in protected areas such as lakes or natural reserves. With an average cruising speed that varies between 25 knots (28 mph) to 38 knots (43 mph), things won’t feel like on a race track, but excitement should be guaranteed.

There may be a growing electric movement out there, but you’ll need good, old fashioned gasoline to power this watercraft. Depending on how light you “travel”, the average consumption is somewhere between 25 to 30 lit per hour (6.6 to 7.9 gallons per hour).

As to what one of these would cost, you’re going to ask if you truly want to know. But we can tell you something else, according to Design Boom, each component of “jet capsule” comes with an international warranty coverage and 24hour/365-day assistance.
