Two Classic Jaguar E-Type Racecars Driven Flat Out at Monza

The Italian circuit of Monza is one of the world’s most renowned high-speed racetracks. It is the perfect place, then, to take your 1963 Jaguar E-Type and E-Type Lightweight Low Drag Coupe for a spin.
Both cars are period-spec race cars and both are powered by the iconic Jaguar 3.8-liter straight-six, putting out around 350 hp, and enabling the cars to reach a top speed of around 275 km/h (170 mph). However, the highlight of the video (apart from the stunning 1960s design of the two cars and that of the ‘low drag’ car in particular) is the sound of the 3.8, as it abused around the famed Italian track.

Both cars are extremely rare and it’s a real treat to see and hear two of them at the same time. We also recommend that you turn up your speakers to better soak in that lovely straight-six noise, which is unique to the 3.8 engine.
