If the tuning industry keeps working at its current rate, soon we may have more aftermarket packages for the BMW 1M Coupe than the number of units produced by the German automaker. So, how is this bad? It isn’t. Not at all. Thus, we give give a new modification kit for the entry-level M car, this time coming from German tuner TVW Car Design.
Dubbed “Orange Competition”, the package targets both the visual and the technical sides of the Bimmer and we’ll start with the latter.
The twin-turbo 3.0-liter straight six has been gifted with a new intercooler, a custom exhaust system and an ECU remap, which has brought the output up from 335 hp and 450 Nm to 500 hp and 620 Nm. Thus, the coupe now manages to offer a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h).
As for the other part of the deal, the tuner has fitted a carbon fiber roof and rear spoiler, as well as a set of 20-inch lightweight alloy rims. The interior of the car has also received a bit of attention, being gifted with a set of bucket seats and a custom steering wheel that uses LED indicators.
