If you happen to be at a track day event, recognize a BMW 1M Coupe from the distance and initiate pursuit in order to pass, you'd better not rely on the stock technical specifications for your calculations. Yes, there's a big chance that you'll encounter a modified 1M Coupe, as more and more tuners are offering aftermarket developments for the entry-level M vehicle.

This time, the package we are going to talk about comes from APP Europe, which offers pretty serious tech mods for the car.

First of all, the 3.o-liter turbocharged engine has received a larger intercooler, a titanium exhaust system, as well as an ECU remap from MR Car Design, with the poweplant now delivering 410 hp. In addition to offering more power, the titanium exhaust is also 50 percent lighter compared to the stock one.

The braking system now relies on 6-piston calipers for the front axle and 4-piston calipers for the rear axle, using Movit ceramic components. The connection to the road is established via a set of ATS lightweight alloy rims that use Pirelli P Zero tires.

The vehicle has been fitted with an adjustable suspension that allows the driver to play with the setting using a special iPhone app.

Here's what the tuning specialist had to say bout its new baby: "APP Europe adopted the 1 M Coupe in Igling, Bavaria which was called the most “uncompromisingly intensive” BMW and designed a car for everyday use with a unique combination of performance characteristics and light construction; this car is suitable for both track events and personal use and pleasure."
