Perhaps some of you wonder how extremely fast car owners can stay away from racing when they leave the drag strip behind. Well, the dangerous truth is that many of these drivers can't put the velocity drug aside, which is why you find those tire marks on the road in the morning.
As for what exactly happens during serious street racing episodes, the answer can vary depending on how fearless the drivers are. For one thing, we have guys who have no issue with prepping the surface of Los Angeles road for perfect grip racing, while those willing to avoid the police at all costs will head over to Mexico for such night time adventures.

Nevertheless, we're here to show you the typical highway street racing episode, which involves a few really fast machines and drivers who completely ignore the law.

We've brought along the video at the bottom of the page, which shows a cameraman getting a shotgun ride in multiple cars that took part in said racing session.

A videographer from the drag racing-obsessed crew over at 1320video spent a night in the company of a fourth-generation Camaro Z28 that had been taken way past the factory output.

The Chevy comes with a 5.3-liter V8 that uses a massive turbocharger to deliver its performance, but the fact that the setup also involves a six-speed manual is perhaps even spicier.

We can probably say the same about the suspension setup on this Camaro, which may be solid enough for those long hours of racing, but also makes things wobbly enough for us to mention this.

As for the kind of performance this Camaro can deliver, the car was also filmed doing its thing at the drag strip, but we'll let the footage do its job without throwing spoilers at you.
