And a recent adventure of the sort involves the Macca battling a Lamborghini Aventador SV. Now, while the Superveloce is a beast of a machine, being able to put its 750 hp to use in a way that allows it to blitz the Nurburgring in under 7 minutes, it's no match for the sprinting might of the McLaren 720S.
Then again, the Sant'Agata Bolognese machine we have here isn't exactly stock. Following a trip to the gym, the Raging Bull now allows the one behind the wheel to play with no less than 900 horsepower.
Well, the driver of the McLaren has also taken his machine down the aftermarket path, even though, judging by the details shared on social media, it seems that the British toy only packs a custom exhaust.
The two got together on the road and used the good old rolling start - this makes for a less important traffic disruption and allows the driver to leave the area quicker.
So, with the smartphone flash delivering the start, the two took off, with the V12 of the Lamborghini taking over the aural side of the battle, possibly via a custom exhaust that makes the most out of the Italian engine's brilliant voice.
P.S.: It would be best not to use this shenanigan as an example. In other words, try to head for the drag strip when the sprinting desires show up.
Update:The footage of the sprinting battle is back online.
