Tuned G55 AMG for Abu Dhabi Royalty

When you don’t have the time to count the huge piles of money in your possession, between making a wee-wee in a golden toilet and having others wash your hands afterwards, you begin to think on which car you can buy that nobody on the planet will ever own.

That of course, if you are not preoccupied with the global petrol prices. If you didn’t realize it by now, we are talking about the Middle-Eastern royalty.

Abu Dhabi to be more exact, who recently commissioned a one-off Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG, specially tuned by ART, Auto Trader informs us.

The vehicle has one powerful ‘dromedary’ under the bonnet. ART did a great job with the AS55K YAAS Edition, as the vehicle is called, having its standard 5.4-litre V8 engine tuned from 354 HP to no less than 620 HP.

Add that to the 380mm eight piston perforated brake discs at the front and 345mm discs at the rear, and the ‘dromedary’ becomes a ‘camel’.

Tuner ART also modified the car with a kit that includes a carbon fiber bonnet, carbon-fiber side mirrors, door handles and the spare wheel cover.

The interior surfaces including the steering wheel also have carbon fiber detailing, just as the royal family requested.

Quite unexpected if you ask us, as gold-plated would have been the first thing to cross our minds instead of carbon-fiber... But in the end, gold is not quite the perfect choice for a car destined to be used on the rough Arab terrain.
