Russian roads are the stage for some of the most brutal and violent car crashes we`ve ever seen, and it his highly-unlikely that they will ever be topped, ever again, as cars get more technologically advanced, and the amount of safety kit they come with as standard increases.
These Russian crashes will soon begin to dwindle in number, in the next five to ten years, as more and more cars will come fitted with ESP, AEB, lane departure warning systems and similar gadgets.
Sadly, before all of that safety tech makes its way onto the road, people will still drive around in old vehicles with questionable levels of mechanical soundness.
Bad driving is another cause for these horrific crashes we see every day, and the 18-wheeler driver in this video shows us exactly what that means. As it is being driven along normally, its driver decides to change lanes, not seeing the big red bus which was already halfway through its overtaking manoeuvre.
The bus is pushed onto the oncoming lane, where it hits a speeding car, which pops and cracks on impact - very scary stuff. Also, the truck driver who caused the crash did not stop, and by the time the video ends, he is completely out of sight. Good thing the number plate is visible in the video.
