Young people that got used with their smartphones, computers, tablets and other tech gear will probably have no issue using Toyota’s new Touch 2 infotainment system. But there might be elders like your parents which didn’t grew with all this technology when they were young, meaning that they might stumble upon simple tasks like setting the navigation to a certain destination.
Toyota understands this and has recently released a whole batch of video tutorials on the Internet over how the new Touch 2 works, all including step-by-step actions so everyone understands.
“We want all our customers to be able to enjoy the full benefits of Toyota Touch 2, taking in anything from being able to listen to their favourite tracks direct from their phone, to downloading and using apps that can add extra dimensions of information and local area intelligence to their route planning,” said Toyota Vehicle Marketing general manager David Hilbert.
“The technology is designed to be easy and intuitive to use, but we appreciate that for some customers, taking the initial step to set things up and get going can be daunting. We’re sure being able to see on screen exactly how it’s done will be even more helpful for some than words-on-a-page descriptions,” he added.
The 10-video playlist bellow shows how you can use features on all three infotainment variations: Toyota Touch 2, Toyota Touch 2 with Go and Toyota Touch 2 with Go Plus. The videos will show you how to use the satellite navigation, set up and online account, use apps, update maps and software, pair your phone for calls/music/internet, install e-Store and more.
