Toyota Reveals Details for Its US Comeback

Toyota holds great expectations for 2012 Camry world debut. Given the fact that Toyota has lost ground in matter of sales to rivals like Hyundai, the manufacturer plans for a memorable comeback.

“They (Toyota) have been given a black eye over the past three years for different things, some beyond their control and some that showed kinks in their armor,”
said Ed Kim, an industry analyst for AutoPacific Inc, was quoted as saying by egmcartech.com.

When launching the 2012 Camry, Toyota went off the charts with PR events being organized across US, with the most memorable taking place at Hollywood’s Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, featuring a true New York City themed show with over 200 actors, dancers and musicians.”It really starts with the all-new Camry.

"Camry is the keystone of the brand.Then the cadence comes faster than I’ve seen in 30 years with Toyota,” Bob Carter, Toyota Vive President as the aforementioned source cites. Toyota’s comeback also include significant plans for the Scion and Lexus lineup. Furthermore, in 2013 the Avalon and the Highlander are scheduled for redesign while the RAV4 will be all-new.

Toyota had also planned changes in matter of design for the Toyota Sequoia, Land Cruiser and Tundra and lastly the Toyota Corolla and Prius will be redesigned with the debut of the FT-86. Furthermore, Lexus IS and ES will be redesigned in 2013 followed next year by the LS. With the debut of the LFA roadster in 2015, the HS and RX are scheduled by the manufacturer for a make over.
