Toyota Racing made a good start in its home event practice sessions at the Six Hours of Fuji recently.
For the first time since Le Mans, Toyota put two cars on the track, with the No.7 of Alex Wurz, Nicolas Lapierre and Kazuki Nakajima running along with the No.8 TS030 Hybrid of Anthony Davidson, Sebastien Buemi and Stephane Sarrazin.

“It was a good day today; the car was performing well in both sessions”, said Anthony Davidson. We chased the circuit as it evolved and the day progressed; we will look at the data and further improve the set-up overnight. Hopefully it will stay dry because it seems we are pretty competitive. So I am quite happy and hopefully we can make the car even better for tomorrow.”

The first 90-minute session saw the #8 go fastest, leaving the other car in fourth, while in the afternoon practice, the No.7 and 8 were fourth and third respectively.
