As we learned earlier, New Zealand will have its own one make GT 86 series called the Toyota Finance 86 Series, promising a lot of fun and thrill for those who can spend AU$89,700 for the special racecar.
Scheduled to debut next month, with the opening rounds at Highlands Park in Cromwell, race drivers and enthusiasts have already started to test out their cars for the event.
Based on the striped out Toyota 86 RC, the racecars are all fitted with a FIA-approved six-point rollcage, Sparco racing seat, MoTec display, tuned suspension, performance exhaust system and more.
