Toyota Racing managed to set the fastest lap time of the day at the practice session of the Six Hours of Sao Paulo.
The #8 TS030 Hybrid of Anthony Davidson, Sebastien Buemi and Stephane Sarrazin ran smoothly in the first practice session and accomplished the fastest lap of the day while the second practice focused in endurance testing, which brought them third position.
Anthony was behind the wheel most of the practice time while Stephane got to drive about 12 minutes of the 90-minute session.
Toyota’s success in the practice session was aided by the new high-downforce aerodynamic package the team brought to Brazil and tested recently. Modifications were made to the front and rear of the bodywork to be compliant with racing on a shorter circuit.
