Toyota might be busy developing a 300 hp version of the GT 86 sports car, but it seems that the automotive producer is planing much more than that in terms of sports cars. According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Tetsuya Tada, the man behind the 86 project, is aiming at bringing two additional sports car to Toyota’s range.
Tada would like to give us a model that would be slotted under the GT 86, as well as one that would sit above it. While the first is interesting, simply because it could bring thrills to the masses, the latter sends our interest level through the sky, as we could be talking about a Supra successor.
If the Supra revival gets the green light (nothing has been decided yet), we’ll get to see a new Toyobaru collaboration. Let’s hope that history really does repeat itself.
