Toyota Fun-Vii Shows its Smartphone Qualities in Promo Video

At the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show, Toyota unveiled the Fun-Vii Concept, a vehicle featuring the side profile of a sled and the touchscreen doors. The Japanese automotive giant thought that it would be interesting to put a smartphone on four wheels, and indeed it is.
We take our fun going sideways, but the Big T thinks it can be obtained by the emotions created by this vehicle. However, we’ve never heard of anybody calling an MP3 player with a big equalizer as being fun.

This is the first concept where the whole body of the vehicle as well as the interior can be used as a giant entertainment center. The car also mimics and links itself to the surroundings, while a part of its functions can be controlled via smartphone.

All we know is, if you hack one, it will be a great way to get back at somebody you don’t like by posting pictures of him that he doesn’t want people to see. Still, the Japanese are a quiet bunch, so they probably never thought of that.
