Toyota has recently announced that it will expand its early childhood learning centers with 12 more additional examples, while also increasing their sponsorship to $1 million.
The learning centers are addressing to parents and caregivers who want to learn more about early childhood education, including teaching infants something new everyday and learn about their emotional development.

There are three schools already selected in Central Kentucky to be among the 12 new bornlearning academies: Clark County Preschool in Winchester, Paris Elementary School in Paris and Garth Elementary School in Georgetown.

"For me, this program has been about creating teaching moments in daily life. It's understanding opportunities with what a kid is already doing, like talking about patterns by having my daughter choose striped pants or polka-dot pants," attendant of Hiseville Elementary academy Leea Martin Slinker said.

Toyota’s goal is to have 63 learning centers in Kentucky by 2016.
