Toyota iQ Screams for Branding

An unexpected marketing campaign was initiated by the British division of Toyota these days. The carmaker wanted to stand out from the crowd and decided to offer a free eye-catching company livery for its iQ model.

Toyota has teamed up with Motor Mode UK to demonstrate how iQ’s distinctive size and shape can provide a high-impact canvas for bold, unmissable branding, able to turn heads on the street.

The free offer, available for a limited period only, is for covering two standard body panels in the customer’s choice of graphics. Motor Mode can provide examples, adapt, or work in consultation with the customer to create a bespoke, customized livery.

For an even higher-impact effect, half and full vehicle wraps can be created, at an additional cost. The offer is available through the nationwide network of Toyota Business Centres and will continue through into the New Year.

At less than three meters long, the iQ has the carbon dioxide emissions level at as low as 99g/km (qualifying for zero VED/car tax), combined cycle fuel consumption of 65.7 mpg and benefit-in-kind company car tax of just 10 per cent for the 1.0-litre VVT-i model.

Dubbed the world’s smallest production four-seater, the iQ is highly recommended to be used in congested city streets, yet it is equally safe and fun-to-drive out on the open road. The model achieved a top five-star safety rating from Euro NCAP and notched up almost 7,000 sales this year already.
