Toyota wants to increase the popularity of its smallest hybrid, the Prius c (Aqua) by revealing four new concepts at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show based on it, which may come to life in the near future as street cars.
One of them is the Toyota Aqua Cross which is supposed to be the roughened up version of the small hybrid hatch.
As you can see here, the Cross comes with a higher suspension, redesigned headlights and front grille and dark plastic moldings on its wheel arches, skirts and bumpers.
The rough look is completed by flush-mounted roof rails, skid pads on all sides and a pair of big foglights. Inside, you’ll find some new materials with contrast stitching and a few relocated buttons.
