Topless Nissan 350Z Turned into Porsche Panamera Convertible

Back in March last year, the U.S. Patent Office allowed us to see a series of designs trademarked by Porsche, showing a topless incarnation of the Panamera. To see the German four-door convertible was interesting, so we became curious... what if Porsche really built it?

To be honest, we’re not quite big fans of Porsche’s new development ideas, but as long as its sales keep the 911 alive, we won’t complain. So, since we’re on the profane Porsche planet, why not enjoy ourselves and think about a Panamera Convertible?

Well, it seems that some do more than just thinking: one owner decided to find a new meaning for the “Convertible” part of the name of his topless Nissan 350Z - he... converted the car into a Panamera cabrio (we must thank automotto for the images).

As you can imagine, the project took an enormous amount of work. We’re not here to question the style of the resulting creation, but only to observe it. We can’t help notice that a lot of attention has been paid to details, with the custom creation receiving a perfect finish.

As for the financial part, this was also a serious undertaking. Just the body kit fitted to the ride, which comes from Fairy Design (we know, cheesy name) came with a price tag of $40,000.

The interior was also heavily modified, but the Porsche theme was left behind. Instead, a white leather-white-light treatment was applied.
