Nissan’s upcoming DeltaWing race car is going to change the motorsport game, but while it will be extremely advanced, it will also be untouchable for mere mortals. Well, Top Gear has decided to do something about this.
Er... no, they won’t borrow it, that would be too much, even for them. Instead, they’re building their own, road-going version of the DeltaWing Le Mans racer. The vehicle is being put together by Andy Saunders, one of the UK's finest car customisers, as Top Gear says, who still has a lot of work to do until the replica will set wheel on the road.

Of course, this will be a funny car, but not in the way Americans understand the term. To be more precise, it isn’t going to break any record, except maybe an audience one.
