Alright, the Bugatti Veyron just went from supercar to legend as the last one - La Finale - was sold and displayed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. However, there's a great legacy left behind by the Veyron that never ceases to amaze.
When the model was first thrown in the limelight, engineers, media and public alike hailed the Bugatti Veyron for two things: its exquisite design and the masterpiece some might call "engine".

That's right, we're here to talk about the jaw-dropping (at that time, and even now) W16 engine in the Bugatti Veyron. We're still getting goosebumps when we think about the 8.0-liter, quad-turbo, 1,001 HP technological work of art.

So, with Bugatti Veyron being history after the 450th model was sold to the Middle East, many might think that the car's dead and gone. Well, we don't as we are pretty sure there's no expiration date on the Bugatti Veyron, especially on its engine. And we have a video to prove it.

The thing about watching this video is that you get to see the real meaning of the 'you never miss it until it's gone' saying. Even though the W16 is an alien among standard engines, you can still recognize its components as technicians are putting everything together by hand, just as Ettore Bugatti would have wanted.

There's also no modern-day gimmicks in the supercar's powertrain, no hybrid technology, no Li-ion battery packs whatsoever. There's also something manly and old-school about those mighty sixteen cylinders and we're sure many of you are already starting to feel nostalgic about the Veyron. In case you're lucky enough to own one. Which is another reason to watch the video below:
