The stripes adorning the top section of the 2017 Porsche 911 R have been a source of controversy ever since the clutch special made its debut at last year's Geneva Motor Show. So why not have these on your Neunelfer car cover?
The list of genuine Porsche accessories involves a cover that can match the color spec of one's car and we have to admit that the one we can see here is the best we've come across so far, which is why we decided to share it with you.

As the part of our readership tuned into our Neunelfer tales has probably figured out by now, we've already covered (no pun intended) this particular example of the 500 hp Porscha in the past.

We're talking about a car belonging to Instagrammer alexis.bve and we're glad to remind you that he is not the kind of collector who locks his four-wheeled possessions away in a grage, aiming for profit.

Instead, the man uses this Neunelfer as its maker intended, driving the hell out of the rear-engined delight - remember when the supercar was used to bake some delicious donuts?

Of course, such a car cover could also be used for one sweet trolling move. We have to admit that we can't stop wondering about the reaction Porschephilles would have when seeing such a cover concealing a... 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring package. With Porsche using the TP for the Gen 2 GT3 as a 911 R for the masses, it's only normal for such questions to pop up.

And while we're talking 911s, we'll remind you to brace for the Nurburgring announcement scheduled for this Wednesday. Porsche just let it slip that it will make a GT2 RS announcement on September 27 and we're expecting nothing less than a fresh production car lap record (the rumors talk about a 6:48.75 cronograph number).
