Forget about Manhart's claimed 'fastest BMW M5 in the world'. That car was taken up to 710 HP and 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque and is now history, once Switzer got involved.
We're sure you heard about Switzer, especially if you're into GT-Rs. That's because they managed to get over 1,000 HP out of the 3.8-liter engine under the bonnet of the Nissan. Considering the M5 has a 4.4-liter V8, we were expecting a bit more power than what they're showing in the video below.

The car they built is a 700 HP monster, with 640 lb-ft (868 Nm) of torque. But how? Well, they did some magic and, using a new exhaust system, plug and play ECU remap and drop-in air filters, this is the end result.

Notice that there isn't too much tech work done to the engine and still we have 700 ponies to play with. Imagine what a hardcore tuner could get out of the S63Tu engine. Until that day comes, enjoy the video below with a P700 M5 rocking a HG Motorsports exterior kit and dressed in Matte Black.
