It looks like Italian designer Mattia "Fofo"Foroni appreciated the British Royal House a lot, and to stress this out, he came up with the idea of customizing one of the iconic British bikes, transforming it into a wonderful piece of historic art marking a milestone in UK's political life: the coronation of Queen Elizabeth.
Queen Elizabeth received her crown almost 60 years ago, on June 3rd and she was all over the newspapers. So Mattia wanted to make this glorious moment last forever, carefully selecting clippings from the Daily News and New Chronicle, and using them to customize the fuel tank and fenders of a Triumph Thruxton.

Mattia spend more than 220 hours of intense work for the Triumph Queen Elizabeth Coronation machine, as he wanted to embed the very essence of the English spirit in this build. And since the images were obviously not enough, he went on and added vintage knobs and tires, a diamond-stitched saddle which looks astonishingly noble, custom wheels and springs.

Having both frame and forks shortened to add a more retro, compact air to the Triumph Queen Elizabeth Coronation, Mattia managed to bring the bike in the realm of fantasy, even if it evokes a very real event. Foroni and the Triumph Queen Elizabeth Coronation will be present in Neukirchen, Austria, at the Tridays, June 21-23.
