The Perfect Car for the Perfect Wedding

The wedding day is certainly the most important moment in any woman's existence. As you assume it's the first and last time when you're getting married (although you might be wrong about the "last time" part), you want everything to be perfect... including the wedding car as well. The groom is already fed up with all the wedding preparations and with his bride's whims so he may just as well let the hard task for his future wife, so here you are, having a huge list with things-to-do in front of you and now it results that you are the one who has to make sure that your wedding car doesn't ruin your perfect wedding! Of course, you can always ask someone like a wedding agency to help you solve the tough task but if you want to have complete control over the situation, you are the one who has to come up with the ideas. I know that the search for the most beautiful wedding gown has already driven you mad and exhausted all your efforts but try not to ignore the part with choosing the right car for your wedding. Usually each wedding has a certain theme varying from the "Cinderella" fairy tale to, let's say, the galactic wedding. Remember that the car you choose should match with the theme of your wedding, otherwise all your preparation efforts will have been in vain! Classic never grows old...
Whether you have opted for a simple wedding or for a theme that takes bride, groom and guests a few years/centuries in the past, a classic car seems always the right choice. Classic cars are available through wedding transportation companies virtually everywhere. But you have to know from the beginning that most companies have only one or two classic cars to rent as they are extremely expensive to buy and keep, so you have to make sure you book in advance to have it ready for your wedding day.

If you have made your choice upon a classic car, you have to know that there are some differences between such vehicles and limos. Classic cars will be a bit smaller than a stretch limo and are likely only be able to accommodate the groom and bride. In case you want to hire a driver, you should know that you might not have some private time with your husband as there are few chances you have a glass partition in the car.

The idea of renting a classic vehicle for your wedding sounds terrific, but you don't know what cars are included in this category? Well, a few examples of classic cars would be the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud, the Pontiac Bonneville, the Essex Super Six, the Ford Model T or Ford Model A. Certainly there may be other names on the list but you just have to do a little research to see what best fits you and your future husband.

Treat yourself with a limo

You probably know that the white limo is considered an iconic wedding car. Usually this kind of vehicle fits perfectly each wedding, irrespective of its theme. Of course, choosing a white limo is not an original idea as most couples opt for this model in their perfect day. However, a white limo will always remain an elegant alternative for those who don't consider that originality should define their wedding.

Therefore, if you have decided for a white limo, you may choose between a Cadillac or Lincoln Town Car. Unlike classic cars, limos offer plenty of space for the groom, bride and other guests. Equally, the bride and the groom can enjoy some private time without feeling disturbed by their driver who is far away from them.

Hot sports cars for modern weddings

Many people are tired of the classic wedding cars or of the white limos. A popular trend nowadays in wedding transportation is to have a hot, late-model (preferably) sports car. The difficult part is how you get one if you don't have any friends to help you solve this matter.

In order to get a sports car for your wedding day, you can either contact the auto clubs in your area and see who rents luxury wheels or call your local dealer and if you're lucky enough, he/she may let you "test drive" the car for a few hours. Whether you choose a Porsche, BMW, Jaguar or Bentley, little does it matter as long as your husband is happy to drive a muscle car at least once in his lifetime... that being your wedding.

A stretched Hummer for the big day

If you have always dreamt to surprise your guests with your wedding car and burn tons of gas at the same time, a Hummer is an interesting yet unusual choice. It has become very fashionable nowadays to have a stretched Hummer on your wedding day to give your guests a topic of gossip.

Remember that if you make your choice upon this option, you and your future husband will have to pay a small fortune for it. Besides, there are big chances that such a wedding vehicle will overshadow the just-married couple. Therefore, when guests will see the stretched Hummer, your exquisite wedding gown risks to pass unnoticed.

Cinderella's car alternative-the horse-drawn carriage

If you want your wedding to be changed into a real fairy-tale to remember over the years, then a carriage drawn by horses is a must. However, irrespective of how tempting this alternative would look like, you have to take into consideration at least two things: the location of your wedding and the weather.

Before thinking to hire a horse-drawn carriage, you must be sure that the location of your wedding allows such vehicles. For instance, a carriage wouldn't be a right option for a crowded city. What's more, try to find out as many details about the weather in your wedding day. Sometimes it might be difficult to predict how the weather would be like in June or July but in case it happens to rain, this is likely to turn your Cinderella carriage into a nightmare.

Why not your own car?

If none of the aforementioned options doesn't fit your dream wedding, then you have one more alternative: your own car even if it's old. It has been by your side for better and for worse, so what more could you want from a wedding car?

Certainly before presenting it to the guests, you should clean it and decorate it accordingly. With the perfect decoration, it may look just perfect. Quite obviously, having your own car as wedding vehicle will cost you considerably less than a stretched Hummer.

So, what will it be for the big day?
