Here's Katros' take on the Suzuki Thunder 250, a nifty custom job resulting in a neat bike, with a wonderful orange-black color scheme evoking some of the older Harley-Davidson Sportsters.
Suzuki Thunder 250 is one of the most popular bikes in Indonesia, and at the same time, one of the top-ranking two-wheelers as far as displacement in concerned. The original attire of the Thunder is anything but great, as the bike has been designed as a daily commuter and therefore the "headturning" effect was rather neglected. However, when Katros are bestowing their skills upon a bike, things are changing fast for the better.

The Groovy 2 is a rather peculiar build, as it brings together elements from different classes. It looks like a cafe-racer, but has unmistakeable scrambler DNA, too. IN the end, the most important thing about this Thunder is that it looks so radically different from the original machine.

The bike got dual-ratio springs rear shocks, an upgraded front rotor, chunkier tires and revised fenders. The underseat chassis area could have been freed, also for a more sporty and tidier look, but we can live with that.

The black frame is neatly matched with the matte silencer, the painted engine and the retro fork gaiters, and makes a pleasant contrast with the vivid orange and white pinstripes. It may be only a quarter-liter bike, but we love it!
