Ivory Tower's hit arcade racing game, The Crew Motorfest, is currently at half price on Steam, given that it recently launched on the digital storefront after being absent for over seven months. The offer stands until May 2 for every edition.
The Standard version of Motorfest is 35 bucks, down from 70. The Deluxe Edition is $40, down from $80, while the Gold Edition is $50. Lastly, the Ultimate Edition is 60 dollars, down from $120. The Year One Pass has a 35% discount, now $26.

The Audi R8 Spyder Welcome pack with 220,000 Crew Credits has the regular $20 price tag. And if, for some strange reason, you want The Crew 2 bundled with Motorfest, it's 36% off at $77, down from 120 dollars.

The Standard Edition only has the base game, while the Deluxe Edition comes with the game and the Fitted Ultimate Pack. The latter is ok but not fantastic, featuring the 2021 Porsche 718 Spyder Fitted Edition and the 2021 Honda Civic Type R Fitted Edition.

The Gold Edition comes with the Year 1 Pass, which isn't a bad deal. With the pass, you get 25 new vehicles over one year. The Ultimate version includes everything: the base game, the Year 1 Pass, and the Fitted Ultimate Pack.

If you have an Xbox console or PC and want the best deal possible, the $18 Ubisoft+ monthly membership comes with The Crew Motorfest Ultimate Edition and access to over 100 Ubisoft games packed with special editions. The downside is that you must stomach paying each month or the benefits end.

Oh, I almost forgot the best part. There's a free demo on Steam, which brings us to the next chapter of our adventure: the requirements. To play it on minimum settings, you need at least an Intel Core i5-4460 or AMD Ryzen5 1400 CPU with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 480 (8GB) GPU and 40 GB of drive space.

The recommended specs require an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen7 2700X processor paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5700XT (8GB) graphics card.

Both requirements say 8GB of RAM, but that's barely enough for 1080p gaming on Low to Medium settings. It's best to have at least 16 GB RAM for the real deal. For the 4K 60fps experience, 32GB is optimal.

What's not optimal is Motorfest's 60 frames per second hard cap, no matter if you're rocking an RTX 4090 with Intel's latest 14th-gen CPU. The game looks superb at 4K max settings, so it's simply sad that Ubisoft's Ivory Tower, for undisclosed reasons, capped it at 60 fps when it could have run superbly at 120 fps, even capped.

Hopefully, the PlayStation 5 Pro reportedly coming out this fall will receive an upgraded version that will carry over to PC platforms.
