Since the Europe and Asian spec 2014 Toyota Corolla are almost identical, we can’t really say why the one going to Thailand and India needed camouflaged testing in the area if the model was already launched in Europe.
Maybe the new Corolla needs to accommodate with the roads and air in the region, or it’s a marketing thing. Anyway, a heavily camouflaged Corolla was spot by AutoSpinn going under some highway testing in Thailand.
Judging by the overall shape and a few characteristic details, it can’t be anything else but a 2014 Toyota Corolla that will replace the actual Corolla Altis on the local market.
The new Corolla is also produced in Mississippi, USA and Sakarya, Turkey. The difference between the US and the rest of the world versions is mainly visual, having different front bumpers and grille.
