The arcade racing series that has constantly evolved over the years has managed to capture the imagination of an incredibly large number of people. However, there have always been many critics, who have had a favorite argument, which goes something like this: “it’s just a game, it has no connection with reality - everyday driving or racing!”.
Well, it seems like that has just been blown to pieces by a monstrous four-wheeled weapon. The racing team connected to the game, Team NFS, has created a 1,000 hp (820 kW) Scion tC, as speedhunters.com reports. The car is a real one and as you can see, it manages to look fast without moving a wheel.
The Scion tC race car uses all-wheel-drive to put all that power to the road and has been developed over the course of the last few years. This is a Time Attack vehicle that uses hillclimb-style aerodynamic elements and makes extensive use of carbon fiber.
The custom creation has been led by Chris Rado, who is an U.S. racing driver and has also developed extreme projects in the past.
The vehicle has already been brought among us mortals, as it made its debut over the week-end at Road Atlanta. The racer is expected to take part in various motorsport events, so stay tuned for some over sized-spoiler racing action.
Let’s hope that the 1,100 hp Scion tC will be featured in the next incarnation of the NFS series, so we can all “experience” it.
