Take a Glimpse at Food Network’s Star Guy Fieri's Car Collection

If you love food and you like bitter humor, you probably watch Guy Fieri’s show on the Food Network. The 46-year old television personality co-owns five restaurants in California and is considered by some as the face of the network. The man is also a great American cars enthusiast. He recently showed off his collection to Food Network Magazine so we figured you might want to take a glimpse.

It turns out it’s not just meatballs and jaw-dropping dishes with this fellow. When he’s not busy taking care of people’s taste for great food, Fieri is constantly distracted by classic cars.

The Chevelle was the car when I was growing up”, he told the magazine. A neighbor was selling a 1971 model and even though he never quite afford it he finally eneded up buying it.

According to the source, he used his latest $12,000 savings he secretly stashed for years and offered the car's seller a one-year worth free-meals at his first restaurant. It was his first of a long line of cars he’d eventually all have finished in yellow, even though he didn’t like the color at first.

First cooking show celebration: a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette

Another of the cars he owns is a 1976 Jeep CJ-5. The car is about 40-years old and was rebuilt from the inside out. But Guy didn’t buy all of the wheels he takes to the road. The 2007 Shelby Cobra is a personalized all-black car he got as a gift from its designer, industry icon Carroll Shelby. To these, a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, the first off the factory line, ads up.

To celebrate his first cooking show on Food Network, Guy bought a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette. This one sits just perfect next to the ride he recently got which is yet another beautiful classic, a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette. Add a 2006 Chevrolet Kodiak and this man’s collection almost talks by itself. We don't know about the show, but the fellow sure knows to pick his cars.
